Planning for cultural traditions at beach weddings

I’m currently coordinating a destination wedding in Mexico, and I’m excited about integrating local traditions. For instance, we’re considering a ‘La Llorona’ ceremony to honor the ocean. Has anyone else incorporated regional customs into their wedding plans? I’d love to hear your experiences and tips.

But integrating local traditions can really enhance the vibe! For our beach wedding, we included a sand ceremony to symbolize unity and a connection to the ocean. Have you thought about how the La Llorona ceremony would fit into your timeline?

@lindsey_884, that’s a great approach! For our beach wedding, we incorporated a local drumming circle to honor the waves and bring everyone together. It really felt like a party under the stars.
