I’ve noticed that flexibility really helps when you can align your schedule with clients’ needs; i once had a couple that booked a consultation late in the evening, which worked out great for both us. You might want to try offering those non-traditional hours too — have you thought about that?

And @alexis1982 Totally agree that it’s key to align schedules. I once had a couple who couldn’t meet until after work, and it turned into a fun late-night brainstorming session over pizza. Flexibility’s great, but be ready for those unexpected moments — sometimes they lead to the best ideas.

I’ve had great success using project management tools like Trello to keep track of tasks and deadlines with clients. It really helps when you’re juggling multiple weddings at once. Just make sure to set clear expectations upfront; that way, nights don’t turn into last-minute fire drills. Flexibility’s awesome, but clients need to know they’re getting your full attention when it’s time to plan.

And i once had a bride who wanted to finalize everything the week before her wedding — talk about a scheduling tightrope! Using tools like Google Calendar can really help juggle those last-minute changes. @emmett_roberts35, have you found a system that helps you keep track of sudden shifts?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

It can be a juggling act trying to finalize details with couples, but I once had a bride who called me at 2 AM just to discuss flower arrangements! Definitely keep things flexible and open to last-minute tweaks. A good friend of mine swears by setting a cutoff for changes about a week out to avoid chaos.
